Attention Quizzo pros, Cranium experts, and Trivial Pursuit buffs!
We've got something exciting to share with you.
Do you love map based games? Are you crazy for geography trivia? If so, we’ve got the game for you.
Whether you’re looking for a quick distraction at work, a unique educational game, or just an excuse to brush up on your trivia, Google Maps Smarty Pins is putting trivia on the map.
Maybe you already know that the first reported sightings of El Chupacabra were in Puerto Rico, but could you pinpoint the exact city on the map? Maybe, maybe not.
That’s what the innovative folks at Google were thinking about when they created Smarty Pins, an engaging and interactive game that will test your trivia and geography knowledge.
Players can either jump right into a new game or choose from six classic trivia categories and answer questions by dragging the pin to the assumed correct location on the map. Players start off with 1,000 miles and either lose miles for incorrect answers or earn more miles for speedy and/or accurate answers. Answer as many questions as you can before running out of miles and challenge your friends to show off your rewards!
From adults to young students, this game is a fantastic way to practice research skills, study geography and find locations on the map to match the clues provided. We’ve all gotten to know and love our trusted maps app, but Smarty Pins gives us a new way to interact with the beloved Google Maps.
