8. Can I rent or borrow a machine while mine is in the shop?

Definitely!  If you purchased your computer and AppleCare from Springboard Media, you'll receive a free loaner while your machine is in for a warranty repair. If you did not purchase your machine with AppleCare from Springboard Media, or the repair is not covered under warranty, loaners start at just $99 for the entire duration of the repair.
