Bento
Bento 3, built by the industry experts at Filemaker, brings the power of in-depth database capabilities to the everyday Mac user. From cataloging your DVD collection, to organizing a class full of students, a detailed and customized client list, business inventory, or even planning a wedding or party, Bento 3 is a great tool to help you get organized, your way. In this course, we will focus on designing, organizing and sharing information, and creating custom reports and templates for your individualized needs.
New Features in Bento 3
Newly updated and redesigned, Bento 3 has added 10 new templates to its’ family. Ranging from vacation planning to a pass-code locked and/or encrypted user name and password database, as well as a host of easy to use tools to help you design and customize your own templates, Bento 3 has everything to help you get your database started.
In addition to new themes, Bento 3 also has more ways to view your data than ever before with grid views and thumbnails for your media, as well as list and column views that can now be sorted into library folders.
New iPhoto ’09 integration brings your pictures and attached metadata directly into Bento 3, and allows for even easier access to all of your media collections.
With Bento 3, and a local Wi-Fi network, you can now sync Bento 3 with up to five other computers, with or without password protection (Note: this does require a licensed copy of Bento 3 for each syncing computer).
